The 2016-2017 campaign chairs, Meg Graves and Margee Hocking, have set an ambitious goal to raise $600,000 in support of North Texas Food Bank's Food 4 Kids program. Will you join us in the fight against childhood hunger?
With 1 in 4 children in North Texas living with food insecurity, childhood hunger touches every corner of our community. Please consider making a difference in the lives of chronically hungry students — $5 provides a backpack full nutritious food for a child who faces hunger on the weekends.

About the Letter Writing Campaign
The Food 4 Kids Letter Writing Campaign is now in its 11th year! The Letter Writing Campaign is a peer-to-peer fundraiser that benefits Food 4 Kids, a North Texas Food Bank program that provides backpacks of nutritious food to hungry kids every weekend during the school year.
The Letter Writing Campaign was launched in 2006 by Pam Beckert, Diane Buchanan and Patsy Fagadau. These founding women recruited their families, friends, and colleagues to join them in supporting the Food 4 Kids program by opening up their address books and writing letters. The Campaign continues to grow each year following the original model as co-chairs recruit a host committee who all contribute new contacts to the mailing list. Since its start, the Letter Writing Campaign has raised more than $3.6 million and provided more than 700,000 backpacks for hungry North Texas children. The 2015-2016 Letter Writing Campaign raised $601,357 which accounted for about 30% of the annual Food 4 Kids need.
